Paola Munro

Paola has worked for 17 years in the field of psychology in a variety of settings: private, government, health and educational. She has extensive experience in collaborative work with adults, children and their families using both individualised and group based interventions.

With children and families, she is highly experienced in parenting and behaviour management of disruptive and challenging behaviours, emotional coaching, anxiety management, elimination disorders, and providing individual and family therapy. Paola is also an accredited 123 Magic- Emotional Coaching and Positive Parenting Program facilitator.

Paola is also skilled in therapy with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, family and relationship difficulties.

Highly committed to supporting her clients to make changes to their lives, Paola places emphasis on a thorough understanding of each individual and family. She works collaboratively to help them draw on their own natural resources to meet their goals.

Paola’s approach to therapy is based on evidenced based principals that are delivered in a supportive and encouraging environment. As such Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative and Family Therapy techniques are used to help clients to learn about themselves so that they can create meaningful change.
